Privacy Policy

GoodSwing · Effective [date] · Version 1.0

Jinjo Labs Ltd. ("we") runs GoodSwing, an app that analyzes your golf swing videos. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it is stored, who processes it for us, how long we keep it, and your rights. It applies to everyone who uses the app, including guest accounts.

Summary

1. What we collect

Category What When
Account An account ID we generate; your sign-in method (guest, Apple or Google) and that provider's user ID; your email address if Apple or Google shares it (Apple may give a private relay address) When you start your first analysis (guest) or sign in
Settings Dominant hand, language, time zone, notification settings, the version and time of the terms and policy you accepted When you set them
Swing videos The video file you upload, including any sound it recorded, and its recording time. The app removes location and other embedded metadata before upload When you upload a swing
Analysis results Body keypoint positions over time computed from the video, swing metrics, scores, detected faults, coaching text, club and camera angle you chose, session grouping and progress When we analyze a swing
Subscription Your plan, its status and renewal or end date, and the store's purchase records for it. Apple or Google handles the payment; we never see your payment details When you subscribe, renew, redeem a code or restore purchases
Notifications Push token for your device Only if you turn notifications on
Technical logs IP address, time and type of requests, app version and operating system, error details When the app talks to our servers

We don't ask Apple or Google for your name, and we don't collect your location, contacts or photos other than the videos you choose. We don't use videos or pose data to identify anyone (no face recognition).

Body and head points. To measure your swing, our model finds points on your body in each frame of the video, including your head (eyes, ears and nose). Some laws treat points on the face as biometric data, so we follow these rules for them:

Other people in your videos. Only upload videos of yourself, or of other people who agreed to it.

2. Why we use it

We don't use your data for advertising, don't sell it, and don't use it for any other purpose (including training models) without asking you separately first.

3. How long we keep it

Data Kept until
Original uploaded video 30 days after upload
Playback video (720p), pose data, results, coaching You delete the swing or your account
Account, settings and subscription status You delete your account
Guest accounts with no activity Deleted with all their data after 90 days without activity
Technical logs 30 days
Backups Removed from backups within 35 days of deletion

When you delete a swing or your account, we delete it from our systems without undue delay, including videos, results, push tokens and your sign-in account (and we revoke Sign in with Apple access). If a law requires us to keep something longer, we keep only that, only for that period, separately from other data.

4. Sharing

We don't give your data to third parties for their own use. The exception is when the law requires it (for example, a valid court order), and then only what is required.

5. Service providers and transfer outside your country

We use these companies to run the service. They process data only on our instructions and under contract, receive it over encrypted connections when their task needs it, and keep it only as long as that task requires (for AWS, our retention periods in section 3).

Provider (contact) Country What they receive Why
Amazon Web Services, Inc. (aws.amazon.com/privacy) US All service data Hosting, storage and processing
Google LLC, Firebase Authentication (firebase.google.com/support/privacy) US Account and sign-in data Sign-in and guest accounts
Upstage Co., Ltd. (infosec@upstage.ai) Korea, US Swing analysis results only: no video, nothing that identifies you Writing coaching text
RevenueCat, Inc. (compliance@revenuecat.com) US Account ID and subscription purchase records: no swing data Managing subscriptions
Apple Inc. and Google LLC push services (apple.com/legal/privacy/contact, policies.google.com/privacy) US Push token and notification text Delivering notifications, if you turn them on

So if you use the app from outside these countries, your data is transferred to and stored in them. If we change a provider, we update this section.

If you don't want this transfer. The service runs on these providers, so it can't be used without it. You can stop at any time by deleting your account. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in Settings.

Laws abroad. Data stored in another country is subject to that country's laws, and its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities may access it under those laws.

6. Your rights

You can:

We respond within 10 days of receiving your request. If a good reason makes us need longer, we tell you why and when to expect our answer. A legal representative can act for you. Guests have the same rights.

7. Security

8. Automated analysis

Scores, faults and coaching are produced automatically from your video. They are practice feedback only and have no legal or similarly significant effect on you. They are not medical advice.

9. Children

The app is for adults and is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from people under 18. If you think someone under 18 is using the app, contact us and we will delete the account.

10. Contact and privacy officer

If you have a complaint, contact us first. You can also complain to the privacy or data protection authority where you live.

11. Changes to this policy

We post every change in the app. Changes that don't reduce your rights take effect when posted; changes that reduce your rights take effect at least 7 days after we announce them. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it again before your next upload. Earlier versions are available on request.
